Outpatient Services

Research Psychiatric Center has 3 outpatient clinic locations in the Kansas City area. These clinics provide individual, group and family therapy. After an individual has received treatment on an inpatient unit they often “step down” to outpatient therapy so they can be provided with the needed education and support to be able to function successfully outside of the hospital. The outpatient clinics can also be helpful in avoiding a crisis situation, such as when an individual is struggling emotionally or battling an addiction however does not require inpatient hospitalization.
