Senior Adult Services
Known regionally for its quality and longevity, Research Psychiatric Center operates market-leading senior adult treatment programs.
- Senior Program "A"
This program is designed for senior adults who have maintained a high degree of functioning prior to the onset of psychiatric symptoms.
- Senior Program "B"
In addition to psychiatric training, nursing staff on this unit have special training in treating medical disorders in geriatrics.
Partial Hospital Program
The "Day Treatment" or Partial Hospitalization Program provides an effective therapy option for people needing daily care, but who do not require 24-hour supervision.
Our staff utilizes a variety of treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral, family-systems, psychodynamic and solution-focused therapy.
Outpatient Services
Research Psychiatric Center has two outpatient clinic locations in the Kansas City area. These clinics provide individual, group and family therapy.
