Research Psychiatric Center’s psychologists and psychiatrists treat disorders such as:

Adult Treatment Program
The adult inpatient program is designed for patients ages 18-61. It is a multidisciplinary program that includes traditional individual and group therapy as well as:
- Cognitive Therapy
- Expressive Therapy
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
- Grief and Loss Therapy and Family Systems Therapy
The Program, which can accept voluntary and involuntary patients, is designed to return patients to their community and family after a brief, intensive course of treatment. The following specialized services, all of which are supervised by a board certified psychiatrist, are also available:
- Intensive Treatment
- Dual Diagnosis Treatment
- Electro-Convulsive Therapy (ECT)
Adult Intensive Treatment Unit (ITU)
This program is dedicated to rapid stabilization and crisis intervention for adults who need a higher level of monitoring and intervention. With a higher staffing ratio and aggressive medical supervision, patients are able to be discharged home or transferred to a less restrictive setting in 2 to 5 days. Patients in the intensive treatment program have a dedicated, separate unit.
Outpatient ECT
Patients using this service arrive early in the morning for pre-procedure preparation and stay in the hospital for approximately four hours, from treatment through recovery.
